We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for children, teenagers and young adults with brain and other neurology related problems. These problems include epilepsy (also known as seizures, fits, convulsions), development delay, autism, and neuro metabolic and genetic diseases.
Epilepsy is a common neurological disease among children and teenagers. Oral medications prescribed to treat seizures. However, there are many different medicines available to treat seizures. Choosing the right medication depends on your doctor analyzing many parameters. These parameters include seizure type, epilepsy syndrome type, likely underlying cause, co-morbidities and other patient related factors. You can help your doctor to arrive at the correct diagnosis by narrating a detailed and accurate history. Thus, EEG and MRI brain results help in choosing the right medicine to control the seizures / fits successfully.

Dr Lakshminarayanan K is a Senior Consultant Epilepsy Specialist and Pediatric Neurologist. He has worked in various premier Institutes in New Delhi, Melbourne and Chennai thus exhibiting a broad outlook and current International perspectives. Thus, he has many years of experience in diagnosing and treating some of the difficult epilepsy and neurology patients.
